Northants Electrical Co is an electrical contractor based in Northampton, working across Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas. We cover domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural installations, from full design and installation through to testing, inspection and certification.
Our work ranges from rewires, consumer units and EV chargers in homes, to fit-outs, distribution boards and lighting in commercial buildings, and site-wide electrical infrastructure on holiday parks, farms and rural business parks. Every job is tested and certified on completion, and we are fully qualified and insured.
Between the two partners there is over ten years of electrical experience. We are NICEIC registered, hold City & Guilds 2391-52 in Inspection and Testing and City & Guilds 2921-34 in Domestic and Commercial EV Charging, and where a building needs to keep operating we plan the work around your hours.

How we work
Work planned around your hours
Where a building needs to keep operating, we plan the programme around it. That means out of hours, overnight, between shows or outside season depending on the site. At Derngate Theatre we attended out of hours to a fixed schedule to rectify a fault affecting stage access, and the scheduled shows went ahead as planned.
Design as well as installation
On larger projects we design the electrical system rather than extending what is already there. On a holiday park expansion we designed and installed the distribution and pitch supplies for 60 premium camping pitches, sized for the new load with headroom for further phases.
