Electrical contractors based in Northampton
Northants Electrical Co is a two partner electrical contractor covering Northampton, Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas. We work across domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural installations.
About the business
Sam and Jamie set up Northants Electrical Co after spending over ten years working across domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural sites. Between them they had covered everything from house rewires through to site-wide installations, and starting their own company meant they could take that range of work on directly.
Today the business splits between domestic work in and around Northampton, commercial installations and fit-outs, and larger projects on holiday parks, farms and rural business parks. We design and install, we test and certify, and on sites that need to keep operating we plan the work around the building's hours.
Every job is tested and certified on completion. We are NICEIC registered, fully insured, and hold City & Guilds 2391-52 in Inspection and Testing and 2921-34 in Domestic and Commercial EV Charging.

Sam
[PLACEHOLDER: Sam's role and surname to confirm]
Sam has over ten years of experience across all sectors of the electrical industry, delivering projects of all sizes and adapting to the specific requirements that come with each new job.
In more recent years he has taken a keen interest in the parts of the job that often go unseen: surveying, designing and testing both new and existing electrical systems. That has given him a well rounded understanding of an installation from start to finish, with a focus on getting the job done properly and providing the right solution for each project.
Jamie
[PLACEHOLDER: Jamie's role and surname to confirm]
Jamie spent over half a decade working in commercial maintenance in the care sector. That experience suits him to projects needing an extra level of care and attention, from managing demanding maintenance requirements to working with sensitive commercial systems where downtime is not an option.
In recent years he has developed his skills across electrical installation in all sectors, building on that maintenance background. Whether the job is in a home, a business or a larger commercial environment, the approach is the same: understand the requirements, pay attention to the detail, and make sure the work is carried out to a high standard.

What our customers say
Would highly recommend Jamie and Sam from Northants Electrical Co. The first time I used them was for an urgent matter as my electrical shower stopped working. Luckily they were in the area and couldn't have been more helpful, arriving quickly and ensuring the problem was resolved within the hour. As I was so impressed, I have since used them for a scheduled job to change some lighting in my kitchen. The new lighting looks great and finished to a high standard. Both times, they have been helpful, professional and tidy workers.
JULIA WALLIS
I can't recommend Northants Electrical Co enough! They recently did all the electrics for my garage conversion and I'm over the moon with the results. From start to finish they was professional, reliable, and made sure everything was done to a really high standard. They explained things clearly, kept everything tidy, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work.
ASHLEY HARKNESS
Sam and Jamie are both very professional and friendly guys with great communication. They worked around my busy schedule as a teacher, listening to my concerns and needs. They talked me through everything needed for my kitchen wiring and change of fuse box with safety check. They thoroughly checked everything I wanted doing and even cleaned up after themselves once they had finished.
